Grand Hotel Vesuvio - Sorrento

The balcony view was amazing.

Amazingly attentive staff and modern hotel.

Generous sized and airy hotel units with seaview and bedroom, for instance.

The hotel is absolutely spotless and neat, has absolutely breathtaking views of the bay. It has amazing and beautiful location in three quarters of a hour later, in a very relaxing area. You can also visit Trattoria da Emilia that offers excellent meals👍

The location was perfect, just a short walk to town. We loved the 25-metre semi-Olympic pool.

Breakfast could be better: for example, there was no fresh fruit and no boiled eggs.

Location and view from room. Courtesy bus service into town was very good. Need more umbrellas around the pool. More choice for food from the pool bar.

Breakfast could have been better. No fresh fruit choice only tinned fruit. Hot food not good. Porridge uncooked and hard.

unheated swimming pool, no information at all e.g. menu and cost/local bus service,no overhang to balcony from room above, reliance on bus due to location, some areas neglected e.g. garden seats all inclusive features makes it feel like a 3 star

We had a view of the sea and countryside from our hotel room. The room was clean and the shuttle that ran from the hotel to the center of Sorrento had several time options and was included in the price. Overall, a great hotel.

Fine views, large swimming pool, ample public areas

The walk into town is dangerously unwelcoming!!! The gym needs an overhaul. Outdated equipment takes away from the experience. The inconsistent Wi-Fi connectivity is frustrating relying on it.

Loved the spacious family room with a sea view! The shuttle service made our trips into town so easy and the scenic views from the hotel were amazing. Our family enjoyed a fun sailing tour with new friends, swimming in beautiful bays.

In my wife's opinion, the restaurant staff were inattentive. Offering more family-friendly meals would improve dining experiences.

Clean property, really kind staff. Breakfast with eggs offered and tinned fruit and specialist coffees. Nice enough area, central location just off Sorrent as well as restaurants.

Great view of Vesuvius from our balcony. Very nice room. Shuttle service to town was free and convenient. Also tours to Capri and Amalfi Coast were booked through hotel and were very good!
